In February of this year, Waypoint Systems founder Brad Young got the call no family is prepared for. His mother had experienced a massive stroke. Within hours he was navigating an ICU, making decisions about her care, trying to access her finances, and figuring out what came next at every stage — with no guide and no roadmap. She went from the ER to the ICU, to step-down, to rehab, to a nursing facility. At every transition, Brad was the person responsible for knowing what to do next. Nobody was telling him.
